Sellfy
Your own digital storefront in 5 minutes, no coding required.
Sellfy is the digital product and print-on-demand storefront platform Martins Lasmanis bootstrapped from Riga, Latvia in 2011. It lets creators launch a fully branded online store to sell ebooks, video courses, music, templates, software, and physical merchandise — all from a single dashboard with no technical knowledge required. Unlike Gumroad (a marketplace) or Shopify (a full e-commerce suite), Sellfy occupies the middle ground: a standalone store with your own domain, professional design, and built-in marketing tools. Sellfy grew to $3M+ ARR with a team of 25 by adding print-on-demand merchandise (T-shirts, mugs, phone cases) as an additional revenue stream for digital creators — letting YouTubers and podcasters sell merch alongside their digital products without inventory management. The subscription model (flat monthly fee with no per-transaction fees on paid plans) was the product's main acquisition argument: creators who sell at volume keep more of each sale compared to Gumroad's 10% cut.
