A solo developer from France, living in Bali, built a Next.js starter kit that bundles authentication, payments, email, and SEO setup into one reusable package — eliminating the repetitive weeks of boilerplate work that precedes every new project launch. Marc Lou grew ShipFast entirely through building in public on Twitter, openly sharing revenue numbers, code snippets, and failures with the indie hacker community. Launched on Product Hunt in August 2023, it earned $1,000 in its first seven hours, $63K in 60 days, and has since crossed $1M in total revenue on a simple one-time $149 fee model.
