Breezy HR is the applicant tracking system Breezy HR, Inc. bootstrapped from Jacksonville, Florida in 2014. It grew to $5M+ ARR by serving small and mid-size businesses that needed a professional recruiting workflow without the complexity or cost of enterprise ATS systems like Greenhouse or Workday. Breezy HR's drag-and-drop pipeline view (modeled after Kanban boards) let hiring managers move candidates between stages visually — a refreshingly intuitive alternative to the form-heavy interfaces of older ATS products. The platform's key differentiator was the candidate-facing experience: Breezy generated professional-looking job posting pages, enabled one-click application via LinkedIn, and automated interview scheduling (candidates pick from available slots without email back-and-forth). The collaborative hiring features — team scorecards, candidate rating, and side-by-side comparison of finalists — made it easy for companies to involve multiple stakeholders in hiring decisions without losing candidates to slow processes.
